Families: please remember to track your volunteer hours, by going HERE ! Remember, we ask each family to provide 25 hours in service to the school annually. That is only 2.5 hours/month!

Lafayette Preparatory Academy is embarking on many projects in support of our overall mission and vision. We have developed committees to specialize in certain areas. If you are an active, engaged person who would like to be involved in the excitement of building something from the ground up, get involved!

Currently, we have the the following committees:

TITLE I COMMITTEE: take on the hard work of reviewing many areas of our school (academics, discipline, school culture, staffing, professional development, etc.). After a thorough review of existing data, we will develop the plan to ensure we are providing each student the support needed to achieve his or her personal greatness. Contact Ciera Major (ciera.major@lafayetteprep.org) to learn more.

RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE: in an effort to ensure LPA continues to reach all families in the city of St. Louis, this group helps by getting the word out about our great school. Help by spreading the word, inviting families to tours, hanging door hangers, or simply posting one of our enrollment flyers around your neighborhood (church, grocery store, rec. center, local park, daycare, coffee shop, etc.). Contact Kristine Wentzien (kristine.wentzien@lafayetteprep.org) to learn more.

DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE: raising the necessary funds to support our full mission and vision; writing grants to provide exceptional educational experiences for students. Contact Ciera Major (ciera.major@lafayetteprep.org) to learn more.
